Longest Survivor of Solitary Confinement in U.S. Exoneree Albert Woodfox to speak at Criminal Justice Seminar

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Albert Woodfox, one of the "Angola Three," gained his unfortunate fame for serving over 40 years in solitary confinement -- the longest in U.S. prison history. After decades of activism and confinement - Woodfox's conviction was overturned for the third and final time. Fourth of July DUI Arrests Down Slightly in San Diego, Orange Counties

Statistics from this year's July 4th show a small drop in DUI arrests in some parts of California. Holiday DUI arrests reached 747 last year, 48 of them occurring in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol. The same span of time this past July 4th saw 803 arrests across the state with 47 happening in San Diego County.
